PSPA Corporate Partners

We understand that all companies are different, and we offer a huge variety of rewarding ways to make a big difference to those affected by PSP & CBD.

PSPA receives support from a range of different businesses and organisations to help us achieve our mission of creating a better future for everyone affected by PSP & CBD.

This support varies from Charity of the Year partners to service sponsorship, to gifts in kind and one-off collaborations or donations.

Below we detail our current corporate partners and how they are supporting us. As well as an archive of businesses who have supported us in the past.

Emerald Colour

EC is a full-service agency based in Basingstoke. With core skills around creative, print, design, digital. Blending creativity with collaboration, working to support your brand.

EC held a staff ballot for their charity of the year for 2023. PSPA were nominated due to a personal connection of one of the employees. Since winning that ballot EC have jumped into supporting PSPA, primarily through challenge events, with employees signing to run in the Great North Run, The Royal Parks Half Marathon and the 2024 London Marathon. Quite the commitment! And EC have generously committed to PSPA being their charity of the year partners for two years, meaning there the support with continue throughout 2024.

Hill Dickinson LLP

Hill Dickinson LLP is a leading international commercial law firm which delivers advice and strategic guidance spanning the full legal spectrum, broadly organised into three main client groups: business services, health and marine.

The Hill Dickson team will be supporting PSPA via a variety of fundraising events and stamp recycling after staff chose us as their Charity of the Year.

The Novenary team explain: “The inspiration for this partnership came from one of our valued customers, who shared their personal experience with PSPA and its profound impact on their lives. Deeply moved by their story, we felt compelled to support this remarkable organisation in their mission to raise awareness, help, and advance research for these rare neurological conditions.”

Paragon, one of the UK’s largest business service providers, have supported PSPA for numerous years as a regular print and distribution supplier. In 2023, Paragon developed this support further by support our awareness activities over summer 2023. This included distributing a special awareness newsletter to employees from PSPA during PSP & CBD Awareness Week.

Verdant Financial Planning Ltd support PSPA through showcasing our charity on their community page and have supported the charity with ad-hoc donations, due to personal connection.

Talbot Underwriting Ltd

Now part of the AIG group, Talbot Underwriting Limited were our Charity of the Year partners from 2021 tp 2022, and in that time raised over £150,000 for PSPA. This was through a variety of support and activity right across the organisation and came from a nomination for a staff member with a personal connect ion to PSPA.

Kelly, who nominated us, worked tirelessly to imbed PSPA throughout the partnership, explained:

“I had already undertaken some fundraising for PSPA, but I wanted to do more, and get my colleagues and employers involved.

Successfully securing PSPA to be our Charity of the Year was huge, it brought the charity to a new audience, and it meant I could get stuck in, try new activities, and get my colleagues involved.

Over the two years countless colleagues took on challenges for PSPA, including skydives, marathons and epic bike rides. We put the charities logo on our email footer, and match funded every donation. It was a real team effort, so much fun, and we raised an incredible amount! I couldn’t have been prouder.”

Pavers supported PSPA in 2021 by sponsoring the launch of the PSPA Podcast.

Charity donations and sponsorships are agreed by Pavers via a staff nomination process and vote. Beth Morgan nominated PSPA for the sponsorship as she was keen to help the charity provide more support after her aunt died from PSP in 2020.

The sponsorship lasted a year and enabled PSPA to produce the first eight episodes.
