The Nature Partner Journals Dementia (NPJ) are looking for essays and perspectives from patients, caregivers, clinicians, researchers and advocates who have experience with all forms of Dementia including Alzheimer’s, FTD, Lewy body, ALS, Parkinson’s, vascular, or chronic traumatic encephalopathy. The essays will be collated together to create “The Human Connection” journal, which aims to renew perspectives on all forms of Dementia. Specific topics can include:

  • How personal experience with dementia has impacted researchers in or outside of the dementia field
  • Clinical insights from the perspective of caregivers, representing new opportunities for clinicians and scientists to explore
  • Proposed policy or focus areas that patients, caregivers, and at-risk individuals feel are important for consideration for treatment trial protocol and considerations
  • Various dementia related experiences narrating the lived experience from diverse positions within the dementia journey, ie. caregiver, spouse, child, genetically at-risk, diagnoses
