The latest edition of our quarterly magazine, PSPA Matters, is now out. It gives you a glimpse of everything that we have worked on in 2025 and the impact it has had on the lives of people affected by Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP) and Corticobasal Degeneration (CBD). From inspiring stories to important fundraising and research updates, this edition truly captures the heart of the PSPA community!
PSPA Matters is a great resource for anyone wanting to learn more about the PSP Association, and the conditions, PSP & CBD. Whether you have been following our journey for a long time or are relatively new to PSPA, there is something for everyone to read and discover. As the final edition of 2025, this one was extra special and meaningful. It includes updates about the success of our Pathway to Progress event and the year-long Understood Research Appeal that helped us raise awareness and significant funds for vital CBD & PSP research. It also includes a reflection on the successful tenure of our departing CEO, Rebecca Packwood, who left PSPA at the end of November, and an introduction to our new CEO, Dr. James Cusack, as he begins this new chapter with us.
You can also read moving accounts from two couples whose quality of life has improved through PSPA’s Support Grants, along with other heart-warming fundraising and personal stories. They are powerful reminders of why this work matters and the real-life impact of donations and community support.
Finally, the magazine shares details about our annual Bauble Appeal, which is currently running, and how you can honour a loved one by dedicating a bauble and making a contribution.
We are incredibly grateful to each one of you who has helped us bring change, no matter how small, and make a big impact on the lives of those affected by PSP & CBD.
Download the latest edition of PSPA Matters to see how together, we are creating a better future for those living with PSP & CBD.
