Regional Education Sessions for Health and Social Care Professionals

Our team of Helpline Care Navigators can host short online or in-person education sessions to help you and your team better understand PSP & CBD.

These sessions are around an hour long and cover topics such as:

  • What are common PSP & CBD symptoms?
  • What causes PSP & CBD?
  • How do PSP & CBD symptoms progress?
  • What support people living with PSP & CBD may need at different stages.

Regional education sessions are delivered on a request basis and can be tailored to suit specific roles or environments.

Our Regional Education Sessions are available to any health and social care professionals who would like to learn more about PSP & CBD.

Our Helpline Care Navigators regularly host Education Sessions for the following professions:

  • GPs and trainee GPs
  • Specialist Neurological teams
  • Community Outreach teams
  • Parkinson’s nurses
  • Physiotherapists
  • Occupational Therapists
  • Speech and Language Therapists
  • Care home and Nursing home staff
  • Care agency staff.

This is not an extensive list and education sessions can be discussed with the team.

The delivery of regional education sessions may be supported by PSPA volunteers who will also share personal experiences of living with PSP & CBD.
