2026 TCS London Marathon - APPLICATIONS CLOSED

Join #TeamPSPA
The TCS London Marathon is one of the world’s most famous and iconic running events. Honour someone special by raising funds and awareness for PSP or CBD. Be swept away in the extraordinary atmosphere, and revel in the feeling of triumph when you cross the finish line cheered on by thousands.

Applications are now closed for our 2026 London Marathon Charity places.
We have received a sufficient amount of applications to allow us to build a great team, with a healthy waitlist of runners ready in the wings. If you have already applied and think your application may not have been acknowledged, please check your junk mail folder.

Enter the ballot!
The ballot typically opens Marathon weekend and closes 7 days later. Please keep your eyes on www.londonmarathonevents.co.uk/london-marathon and enter when it opens! If you are selected for a charity place, and then also successful in the ballot, you can accept the ballot place knowing you will receive the same level of support from us. We can then re-assign your charity place to another runner ensuring we grow our team as big as possible!

All our Marathon fundraisers will receive support where needed, including an exclusive WhatsApp group, where current and past PSPA runners can come together to support, inspire and mentor you. We will provide you with a PSPA running top and a charity t-shirt to help you raise awareness and promote your challenge. Additional promotional materials such as sponsor forms, PSPA balloons, flags, clappers, fact cards and leaflets are available on request.

Got your own place?
Use your place to raise funds for PSPA and you’ll receive the same support as our charity place runners including a running top and t-shirt. The biggest difference is you get to set your own fundraising target! Let us know you have a place already and we’ll send you links for setting up your fundraising page and joining our WhatsApp chat.

PSPA Charity places in the 2026 TCS London Marathon are limited. We ask our runners to raise a minimum of £2,500 excluding Gift Aid. £1,000 should be raised before 31 January 2026. Your fundraising will help us as we strive to improve diagnosis for the 10,000 people living with PSP & CBD, saving time, resources and helping patients get the care they need faster.

Entry cost of £100 within 30 days of offer of place. All Marathon fundraising to be completed by 30 June 2026.

Will I get a fundraising top to wear on the day?

Absolutely, we love to see our runners in our PSPA apparel! We will send our runners a technical t-shirt, or running vest, to wear during the run. We will also provide information on getting it personalised.

How will I get my race pack?

You will need to collect your race pack from the Running Show, which usually runs from the Wednesday to Saturday before the event. Make sure you allow time to collect the pack during your race day planning.

Can I take part if I have a disability?

Absolutely, you can certainly take part with one of our charity places! Drop us a message and we can support on this.

We will have two cheer points on the day! We will be on the iconic Tower Bridge and also on Victoria Embankment. Details of these locations will be sent to runners ahead of race-day. If you’d like to join us as a volunteer at cheer point please drop us an email, and we’ll coordinate with you!

As an own place runner, you won’t have a fundraising target. We just ask that you raise as much as possible so you can to help us fund essential projects, services, education & research.
