PSPA MATTERS 2026

Edition 1

The first edition of PSPA Matters 2026 is now available! It brings together inspiring stories, important updates, and the voices of people who make our community so special.

In this edition, we first share the exciting news about our 2026 virtual walk, Pathway to Progress. This year, we are aiming to collectively walk the full length of the Great Britain coastline. It’s an ambitious challenge, but every step taken will help us move closer to raising £100,000 to ensure we can provide coordinated, consistent, and compassionate support to people living with PSP & CBD.

Inside, you will also find initial insights from the 2025 PSPA Survey, capturing the experiences of people living with PSP & CBD and their carers, from diagnosis to access to care, and even use of PSPA services. These early findings offer a powerful snapshot of both the challenges our community faces and the support that truly makes a difference.

We also share personal stories of people who have received PSPA’s Support Grants, and how they have impacted their lives for the better, enabling them to do meaningful activities like getting fresh air with their dog or attending the day centre to interact with others.

Next, you will get to meet several of our incredible runners who are participating in the upcoming London Marathon and read about what keeps them going on those long training runs.

Finally, we put the spotlight on three of our amazing befriending volunteers, Jo, John and Kam, who share their motivations, the process of making connections, and how a simple conversation can make a powerful difference in reducing isolation.
