Our support for ground-breaking research studies is funded entirely by voluntary donations.
Projects must correlate with our research strategy in order to be considered for funding and any grants we give must directly advance our mission to improve the lives of those with PSP and CBD.
Applications for funding undergo independent peer review by experts in the relevant field before being scrutinised by our Research Committee, chaired by Prof Paul Ince, consultant neuropathologist at the University of Sheffield. Our peer review process complies with the standards set out by the Association of Medical Research Charities (AMRC).

Our Board of Trustees has ultimate responsibility for the allocation of research funds and takes advice from the Research Committee before making a final decision on which projects to support. Your donations will help us continue to fund vital research to bring us closer to effective treatments for PSP and CBD. Read about some of the projects we are already committed to supporting.
