Friends in Devon will come together for the third annual Bob Bancroft Challenge Cup in memory of the man they fondly called ‘The Legend’.

Bob was much-loved by neighbours in Oakford, Devon and villagers pulled together to support Bob and his wife Carla after he was diagnosed with PSP.

Sadly Bob passed away in June, but the cricketers will gather again at Stoodleigh Cricket Club on 10 September in his memory.

The Oakford Raiders will play the Stoodleigh Sharks at 2pm, followed by afternoon tea. All are welcome and proceeds will go to PSPA. For more information email Carla, at bob.bancroft@live.co.uk
