You may not think of yourself as a carer as such, but simply as a caring partner, husband, wife, son, daughter or friend.

But recognising your role as a carer may mean you can claim benefits and access health and social care services that can help you.

Caring for someone with PSP or CBD is likely to be a new role for you and one you never expected to take on.

It will take time to adjust. There may be times when you feel confident in your new role and moments when you worry that you’re not doing things right.

Caring can be rewarding but it can also be tiring. Remember we are here to support you in your role of carer.
