Thomas Orchard FIH MI

Tom Orchard, a Fellow of the Institute of Hospitality and Master Innholder, is currently Regional General Manager for COMO Hotels and Resorts in London.

In addition to looking after the Metropolitan by COMO and Halkin by COMO, Tom’s responsibilities include the sales divisions covering the EMEA and the Americas.

With a wealth of business experience and contacts, Tom was asked to join the Events Committee to organise the Gala Dinner and Charity Auction, ‘My Journey to 2012’, with Sebastian Coe and Michael Parkinson. To date the event has been the single largest fundraising exercise taken on by the PSPA.

Tom’s involvement with PSPA started in 2007 when he began running marathons for charity. A veteran of over a dozen runs, including three marathons (London twice and New York once), Tom continues to regularly pound the pavement and through his love of the sport has brought PSPA to the attention of many other runners and supporters. He has been a Trustee since 2012.

A family man with two ‘sports mad’ teenage sons, his weekends involve supporting them both and coaching rugby at junior level at Welwyn Rugby Club.
