Professor James Rowe

James is the Cambridge University Professor of Cognitive Neurology and Consultant Neurologist leading the Cambridge based East of England specialist NHS clinic for PSP and CBD.

He is also the Clinical Translational Lead for the Cambridge Centre for Parkinson-Plus. He studied psychology and medicine in Cambridge and Oxford respectively, before undertaking his PhD at the Institute of Neurology, London, under the supervision of Professors Richard Frackowiak and Dick Passingham. During his PhD and his subsequent specialist training in neurology, he had the great privilege to work with Professor Andrew Lees and Professor Martin Rossor, whose inspiration in combining movement disorders and cognitive disorders carries forward still. After working in Copenhagen, he returned to the UK to Cambridge in 2005.

He is a painter, potter, parent and is passionate about PSP!
